Children and young people expect more from the media they are presented with. We at Youth Friendly are always learning, always developing and always imagining new ways to communicate through film and creative media.
Animation is an amazing way to break down barriers and address sensitive issues. A very simple example of this is found in the below piece on bullying which formed a part of a larger film. {vimeo}19896828{/vimeo}
We have some funky software that can animate text, images, photos, illustrations and characters.
The beginning few seconds of any short film sets the tone, so a creative animated title sequence that captures the project can be critical.

Upload Images: Images can be stored and uploaded onto the site as needed. There are galleries and slideshows that allow you to upload images and photographs to your site and automatically resize them for you.
Add Blogs: Our websites allow fully functioning blogs that control how and when comments can be left by pupils, students or the wider community.
Upload Media: Videos and podcasts are becoming an increasingly useful way of communicating, all our websites have the availablity to upload videos and podcasts in simple ways.
News and Events Calendars: You can publish news and events on you school website. These are traditionally thought of as a place you can let everyone know when a school is closed for a “snow day” however, it can be used to promote school concerts, trips away, fun days and school clubs etc.
