Although most of the documents that we create are aimed at children and young people, there are times that a policy, plan or project needs to engage their families and communities.
Formal documents are sometimes complicated and confusing with abbreviations, jargon and language that doesn't flow very well. This often stops the document being read which is a shame because the message is often important and the ideas behind it can be simple to communicate.
We take the time to work with groups to translate the information into Plain English (or other languages such as Welsh).

We can work with children, young people, voluntary groups, organisations, service users and others to make sure that their opinions, experiences and perspectives are taken into account and that the information is available for everyone.
Easy to read summaries are often very similar to Youth Friendly documents however it is important to realise that the layout, design, volume of information has to address a wider audience.
